Christopher E. Klein

Attorney

Chris graduated from the University of Virginia in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Environmental Sciences. He continued his education at Emory University School of Law, completing his J.D. in 1987.

He moved to Savannah after finishing at Emory and has been in private practice for over 35 years. In 1987, he joined Adams & Ellis, P.C. as an associate and was admitted as a partner in 1993. From 1995-1996, he was a managing partner of Adams & Ellis. From 1996-2004, he was a founding partner and managing partner of Ellis, Painter, Ratterree & Bart. He formed the partnership of Bart, Klein & Meyer, LLP in 2004. In January of 2006, he started Klein Law Group, LLC and has enjoyed owning his own practice ever since.

Chris has been married to his wife Nita Ann for over 29 years and is the proud father of daughters Grace and Frances.  In his free time, Chris enjoys training for and participating in triathlons.  He completed his first Ironman in Lake Placid, NY in the summer of 2012, his second Ironman in Whistler, British Columbia in July of 2015, and the World Championship Ironman in Mooloolaba, Australia in the fall of 2016.  In 2017 he competed in Ironman races in Florida, Tennessee and British Columbia, and he qualified for and competed in the World Championship Ironman 70.3 in Chattanooga, TN.  In 2018 he finished first in his age group in the Disney Marathon, completed Ironman races in Santa Rosa, CA and Lake Logan, NC, and ran the Richmond half-marathon and Jacksonville marathon.  In 2019 he continued his racing in AZ, ME and NC.
